Watch Phone Guide
Watch Phones come in a variety and to be certain that a watch phone will work with your carrier you need to find out which frequency band your carrier operates on in your area.

First of all, you must have a SIM card. If your current phone doesn't have on then a watch phone will not work with your carrier.

In the USA cell phone carriers operate on one of two frequencies, gsm 850 and gsm 1900.

T-Mobile exclusively operates on gsm 1900, which should make it easier for T-Mobile customer's to find the right cell phone watch.

AT&T is a little different. AT&T operates on both 850 gsm and 1900 gsm. This is very important when choosing a watch phone.

Some AT&T areas operate only on 850 gsm.

So if your carrier only offers 850 gsm in your area you would need a 850/1800/1900 tri-band watch phone or a 850/900/1800/1900 quad-band watch phone in order for it to work. We've made it easy for you to determine which gsm band your carrier operates on.
